Mural for Modern Look!

From previous post we acknowledged that mural is a beautiful example of modern wall painting that is seen in most of the contemporary houses of today. Not only that they perk up the ambiance of a modern styled interior but also murals can be designed and sized that are not limited to dimension of width and height common to wall art.

Wall paintings as we know are limited to the size of the canvas used. Most of the time the paint is contained in either square or rectangular frame. Compared to mural, design can extend from walls to walls and can even be personalized to match the furniture of the house.Well, that is the advantage, of course. However, we know as well that murals are not as flexible. They are fixed to the wall and even with moving or re-arranging the furniture can compromise the overall look of the house which interior design is perfectly matched with the mural painting.

Mural as Wall Art

Speaking of modern wall painting, what was a street vandalism before is now a beautiful mural at home. Oh yes, when we speak of contemporary style, murals cannot be placed at the backseat. In fact, it is the one thing that will make a dull place very contemporary.

Admit it when we design something modern, it has to look dull at first. It should look very plain yet extremely neat. After creating a space that best described what is mentioned, we put now the art. And most of the time in home interior, if it is not a modern wall painting collection that will make the difference between dull and lively, then it has to be mural.

Wall Art to Break the Ice

Speaking of contemporary art, as opposed to classic and sophisticated French design where there is too much red on the wall and heavy drapes from angle to angle of the house, contemporary space is more of white and in fact, when looked at, it is too plain like an office space!

And what makes an office space interior alive? It is nothing but corporate art. And this too applies to home design. Residential houses that are of Zen type or anything that goes for minimalism is dull without arts in display. Colorful throw pillows won't work if the color of the walls, ceiling, and flooring is unanimously white. There has something too lively to look at to brake the ice. And this is where modern wall painting resolves the issue. And when we speak of such, we mean modern wall painting.

Be a Minimalist!

Modern ambiance exudes a very relaxing feel. Why not when most of the modern designs adhere to minimalism? So much of the crowded home interior where moms collect all the furniture and appliances that she sees along the way to be brought home, not to mention that she travels overseas to collect art from different parts of the globe.

And yes, home becomes then a store. Aside from the space that is now less spacious, moving is not free anymore when you feel uncomfortable that anytime, an art in display may fall or the things at home will be soon messed-up. If that is the case, time for her to get herself exposed to modern design where you see a few selected furniture with modern wall paintings to match the overall interior design of the house. That actually makes home to look very contemporary. Put a few pieces of furniture. Accent and contrast the colors and put a modern wall paintings in place. And voila! you got what it takes at home to relax, to chill, and to receive good vibes.
